Colourful people and festivals

One of the best thing about traveling is that you get to meet very colourful people and their wonderful festivals. This photo is taken at Bolde village in Sindhupalchowk on the occasion of “Gheba”. This is basically a Buddhist festival and they literally dance round and round.

Traveling in the mountains

Roads are just unforgiving in Nepal, and to add woes, the public transportation system is at its worst. Yet traveling by road is so much thrill here. You are compensated by the splendid views of the mountains and lifestyle.

Watching sunset from Arghakhanchi

This photo is taken during the survey for domestic airport in Sandhikharka, the district headquarter of Arghakhanchi district. The hill offers the magnificent view of sunset but my camera was not good enough to capture it properly.
